The Goals and Mission of Yeshiva Ohr Boruch

The holder of an MBA from Roosevelt University, Zvi Feiner balances a successful career in the real estate field with a commitment to a range of community organizations. Among other groups, Zvi Feiner supports Yeshiva Ohr Boruch and previously led the school as its president.

A beneficiary of the Jewish Federation and the Kehillah Jewish Education Fund, and located on Pratt Avenue in the West Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago, Yeshiva Ohr Boruch serves students from kindergarten through eighth grade and utilizes a comprehensive state-approved curriculum that offers secular studies through a lens of Jewish history and experience. Modeled after the European chadorim common in Europe before World War II, the yeshiva offers courses for a wide range of learners and presents the Limudei Kodesh in Yiddish.

The school’s educational and teaching philosophies are based on a commitment to transmitting traditional Jewish values rooted in the Torah, with an emphasis on ethics, morals, and a love for G-d and one’s fellow human beings. Yeshiva Ohr Boruch is committed to teaching these principles to all Jewish learners regardless of financial situation, and offers a range of financial assistance programs to families who wish to send their children to the school.
